Christina Mackins-Crabtree PhD
Principal Medical Writer

Christina completed a collaborative PhD awarded by the University of Surrey. Her research was conducted in the Department of Pharmacology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, New York, and focused on the modulation of noradrenaline release from cardiac sympathetic nerve endings in myocardial ischaemia. Christina joined Alpha-Plus as Editorial Assistant in February 2006, completed a fast-track development programme to become a Medical Writer by October 2006, Senior Medical Writer in February 2008, and was promoted to Principal Medical Writer in February 2010.

During her time at Alpha-Plus, Christina has gained experience in dementia, pulmonary hypertension and surgery.
