Lisa
was awarded her PhD in Developmental Genetics from the University
of Cambridge. She investigated the role of a noncoding RNA
in regulating the expression of a cluster of genes, including
a tumour suppressor gene. In the following year she extended
this project as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Babraham Institute.
She has also received a BA in Natural Sciences, specializing
in genetics, from Cambridge University. Lisa joined Alpha-Plus as an Editorial Assistant in November 2008, and completed a fast-track development programme to become a Medical Writer in June 2009.
